HSCO waiving adoption fees on 'Clear the Shelters' Saturday

BEND, Ore. - The Humane Society of Central Oregon is joining the nationwide effort to #ClearTheShelters on Saturday. If you have been thinking about adding a new family member, now may be the time. The Humane Society of Central Oregon will be waiving the adoption fee for all adoptable animals on Saturday from 10:00am to 4:30pm. 

All dogs, cats and small animals are included in the promotion. (Does not include dog license fee.)

Visit the shelter in Bend to meet the animals, or stop by to say hello and enjoy goodies for people and pets. Our friends at Starbucks at Colorado Crossing is providing beverages, and all visitors can take home samples of Halo Pet cat or dog food. 

All adoptions during Clear the Shelters receive bonus gifts. Dog adoptions include 4lb bag of Halo dry and canned dog food ($40 value). Cat adoptions will receive Halo Cat Food (value $15) and cozy handmade blanket.

The normal adoption process will be in place. The full adoption care package of spay or neuter, first vaccination, microchip ID, free health exam at a local veterinarian, collar, ID tag, food and more, is included with all adoptions.
