  A young man with a group hunting ground animals suffered a severe electrical shock near Culver Sunday afternoon when he lifted a metal irrigation pipe and it came into contact with an overhead power line, Jefferson County sheriff's deputies said.

  A man who once pleaded guilty to attempted murder is in custody after a mental health worker was stabbed to death while visiting him in St. Helens. State officials say it's the first such violent act allegedly committed by someone under state Psychiatric Security Review Board jurisdiction in its 34-year history.
