Monday AM Local Alert Weather, 3-13-17

Good Monday Morning, Everyone...

This morning we find ourselves in a pinch between low pressure in the Gulf of Alaska and high pressure to our south. This puts the jet stream directly into the Pacific NW. This will increase our clouds through the day and give us a slight chance of rain this evening. Highs will be in the upper 50's to low 60's with southerly winds at 10-15 mph.

Rain tonight with lows in the 40's. Breezes will become gentle out of the SW at 5-10 mph.

As this current front continues to advance it will steadily increase our breezes, along with increasing our chance of showers. Wednesday will see our best chance of rain. The next system will be close behind. Weather should be pretty fair for your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Clouds will close in Friday night and deliver some showers Saturday. That system will break up and move on Sunday. Temperatures for the next several days will range from the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
