Heaviest snows are expected to hit Central Oregon from about noon today through the evening hours and into tonight. The National Weather Service has a WINTER STORM WARNING in place until 4:00 AM Wednesday. Highs today will be in the mid 30's and SW winds will pick up to 10-15 mph.

Expect snowfall to continue into the morning hours Wednesday. Between now and then additional snowfall accumulations will total 5-12" depending on location. Upper elevations may receive a little more. Tonight's lows will range from the upper teens to low 20's and 10-15 mph breezes will turn northerly.

Snow showers will break up Wednesday and be replaced with much colder temps...highs in the low 20's and lows near zero. Everything breaks up by the end of the week and the weekend ahead is looking pretty fair.

HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
