Local Alert Weather, Sun., March 12

Good Sunday evening, everyone!

As we head into this evening, we are expecting temperatures to be fairly mild in the low to mid 40s and winds to be light at 5-10 miles per hour. Overnight, temps will dip into the 30s across the region.

As high pressure exits our region, a low pressure system will make its way into the Pacific Northwest for Monday. This will increase our chance of rain showers as we head into Monday. Most of the rain activity we will see will be focused on the western portion of our state, but we have a slight chance of seeing rain on the High Desert for Monday. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s which is slightly above average for this time of year.

For the week ahead, we have rain chances through Wednesday with mostly cloudy skies for the end of the week. We are tracking a slight chance of showers on Saturday. Daytime highs this week will be in the 50s and 60s.

Have a great night!
