Local Alert Weather - Fri. Oct. 14

Good Friday Morning, Everyone...

After one blustery, stormy night we saw conditions break just a bit this morning. We stayed pretty windy, but at least the rain broke up and the temps were fairly mild.

The day ahead may include a few scattered showers, but we are in between the two strongest bodies of this current system...we even get a peek at some blue sky and sunshine! Highs will be in the low to mid 60's, pretty typical for this time of year. Winds will stay gusty out of the south at 20-30 mph.

The rain settles back in tonight. Southerly winds will be a bit gentler, 10-15 mph, by morning and overnight lows will be in the 40's.

Saturday promises to be the wettest day of the week. Heavy rain is in the forecast for much of the state and Central Oregon will not miss out. Daytime highs will cool a bit going through the weekend and into next week. Rain showers will trail into Monday when they will start to break up and leave us under fair, but cool conditions for the rest of the week.
