The New Jersey Devils signed right wing Cam Janssen to a one-year, two-way contract, the Bergen Record reported.

According to the report, Janssen will make $575,000 if he plays in the NHL next season.

Janssen scored a career-high three goals in 24 NHL games last season. He had three assists in 27 games with the Albany Devils of the AHL.

The Devils selected Janssen in the fourth round of the 2002 draft. He has six goals, 14 points and 774 penalty minutes in 336 NHL games with the Devils and St. Louis Blues (2007-11).
