San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker will miss at least the next two games with a shin contusion suffered in the second half of Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the team announced on its website.
Parker will miss Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Suns and Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Both games are on the road.
Parker will be reevaluated when the team returns to San Antonio, and at that point his status for Saturday's home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder will be determined.
Parker is averaging 17.4 points and 6.1 assists this season. He is also hitting 40.7 percent of his 3-point attempts, which would be a career best if he continues that pace.
Without Parker running the point, the Spurs will go with Patty Mills, Nando De Colo and Cory Joseph.
