Philadelphia 76ers point guard Pierre Jackson may have ruptured his right Achilles' tendon during the team's first summer league game Saturday against the Orlando Magic.

The Sixers gave the initial diagnosis but Jackson will be further evaluated.

Jackson, a second-round pick in the 2013 draft, spent most of last season in the NBA Development League. He averaged 29 points per game with the Idaho Stampede.

Jackson's rights were traded to the 76ers from the New Orleans Pelicans for former Louisville guard Russ Smith during last month's draft.
