Firefighters stop 4 brushfires by Hwy. 97 S of Bend

Four small brushfires broke out within minutes of each other on the east side of Highway 97 south of Bend late Tuesday afternoon, sending police and fire crews scrambling to get them out; investigators say a catalytic converter fell out of a vehicle's exhaust, apparently sparking the blazes.
