Cove Palisades bans briquette BBQs in fire's wake

Oregon State Parks banned barbecues using charcoal briquettes Sunday throughout Cove Palisades State Park and took other steps to prevent a repeat of a 200-acre fire that destroyed two homes near Culver, forced evacuations and was traced to improperly disposed of briquettes.
