Surrounded refuge holdouts set surrender; Cliven Bundy arrested at PDX

Day 40 of the armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge turned dramatic Wednesday night as the FBI surrounded the four holdouts, a long live-streamed phone call led them to agree to surrender -- and Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy was arrested on federal charges at Portland International Airport as he arrived to head to Burns.

Lee Joon-seok, the captain widely derided by families for leaping to safety while the hundreds of people remained inside the sinking South Korean ferry, was sentenced Tuesday to 36 years in jail. He was acquitted of murder, but found guilty of violating "seamen's law" and abandonment causing death and injury. Take a look back at images from the disaster earlier this year.
