Feral cats take over nativity scene
Hay bales, warm lights all too inviting for neighborhood felines in Brooklyn
Apparently, there IS room at the inn of a nativity scene in Brooklyn, where feral cats are taking over.
The colony of felines has converged upon the scene ever since sisters Annette and Sue first set it up 10 years ago, local news site DNAInfo reported.
The cats apparently sleep in the empty creche when it's not Christmas.
And when the hay bales and warm nativity lights come out, well that's all the more reason to make it home.
The cats even knock Baby Jesus out of his bed for a warm spot to sleep.
"People love it, but they really get a laugh out of the cats," Sue Amendola told DNAInfo.
