The facility was built in 1995 and has housed several district programs including Hugh Hartman Middle School, the Redmond High School Annex and currently, the Redmond Proficiency Academy. The district chose to open an additional elementary school to accommodate student growth and the full-day kindergarten option that will be offered district-wide in 2015.
