City to remove ban on being annoying
38-year-old ban proves difficult to enforce
A city moves toward overturning a rule that bans people from being annoying.
The City Commission in Grand Rapids, Mich. have decided to repeal a 38-year-old section of city code that states "no person shall willfully annoy another person," reports the Grand Rapids Press.
A city attorney wants to see this an other antiquated bans removed due to the fact that it's virtually impossible to enforce and the wording is "unconstitutional in terms of being vague."
