Bend-La Pine Schools hold events honoring veterans

In honor of Veterans Day, all elementary schools within Bend-La Pine Schools will host an Honorary Veterans Lunch on Thursday. Family members of students or staff who are veterans or who are active members of the military will receive a lunch free of charge during this event.

“We want to celebrate, honor and thank those who serve our country in the armed forces and welcome them into our schools for a tasty lunch together,” said Garra Schlutar, Supervisor of Child Nutrition.

Lunch serving times are available on our School Meals webpage https://www.bend.k12.or.us/district/parents/school-meals
