The United Way of Deschutes County and Sunriver Resort will host the 4th Annual United Way Charity Golf Classic on Sunday, July 29, at the Resort?s Crosswater Club. Players and sponsors are now being sought. All tournament proceeds will be directed to the United Way of Deschutes County.

United Way of Deschutes County is most grateful to Sunriver Resort for once again hosting the Annual United Way Charity Golf Classic on the premier Crosswater course. Crosswater was designed by award-winning architect Bob Cupp and honored by Golf Digest as one of "America's 100 Greatest Courses". Sunriver Resort generously directs event proceeds to United Way of Deschutes County which in turn helps support numerous local social service programs. In addition to generating much needed funds, this annual event provides exciting opportunities for players and sponsorships.

Registration is now open for the shotgun-style tournament, which begins at 12 noon and is limited to 36 foursomes. Cost for a foursome in the tournament is $700, and includes 18 holes of golf at Crosswater with cart, lunch, silent auction and a post-golf barbecue and awards ceremony. Individuals can play for $175.

Sponsorship opportunities begin at $300. A variety of sponsorships are available, including Gold, Silver, Bronze and Individual Hole packages. The Gold Sponsorship ($5,000) includes credit in the event name, recognition in all media promotions, three foursomes, and a choice between three event sponsorship opportunities. Silver Sponsorships ($2,500) include two foursomes, two hole sponsorships, and the choice of driving range or practice green sponsorship. Bronze Sponsorships ($1,000) include one foursome and one-hole sponsorship. Individual Hole Sponsorships are available for $300.
