Ted Taylor

Ted Taylor is a producer and editor who joined the NewsChannel 21 team in February 2010.

Ted brings to KTVZ an extensive and award-winning print journalism background, having worked at daily newspapers in Nebraska, Arkansas, Colorado and here in Bend.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Ted graduated with a news-editorial journalism degree from the University of Nebraska, where he worked for the college newspaper and served as the video coordinator for the Nebraska Cornhusker baseball program.

He got his professional journalism start in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he helped with the paper's extensive coverage of the Columbine High School shootings. He has covered two executions from inside the prison walls, covered the education beat at two newspapers and served as the assistant city editor for a short time at The Bulletin.

He's called Bend home for the last 10 years, and loves covering the people and issues that make this great region tick.
