The family of a Prineville man who disappeared more than two months ago is now offering a $3,000 reward in hopes of finding him.
Crook County sheriff's deputies have been looking for Robert Alan Bucknell, 55, since he last was seen in late March. His tan 1989 Jeep Cherokee was found about 12 miles southeast of Prineville, off Juniper Canyon Road north of Prineville Reservoir, a few days later, but no sign of him.
Undersheriff John Gautney said last month that while foul play was not suspected, authorities were "examining all possibilities" in the missing person case. The family's reward flyer seeks "information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible" for Bucknell's disappearance.
Bucknell was described as 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information that could help find Bucknell was asked to contact the sheriff's office at (541) 447-6398. You can also contact the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-877-876-TIPS, or use the form on the Crime Stoppers page at KTVZ.COM. You can remain anonymous, and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
