The new Crook County Community Development Department encompasses the following entities: Planning Division, Building Division, On-Site Septic, Code Enforcement, Addressing, and the Planning Commission.

Combining these services is an on-going effort to help Crook County with more efficient responses and optimal solutions to our customer?s needs.

The Community Development?s new web page has been designed to aid in efficiency and transparency. You will find the new Community Development web page on the Crook County Web Site?s home page by choosing from the Department drop down list or from the Services A-Z list located in the Header.

The new web page provides, reorganized, concise, user friendly, and continuously updated, information related to the above mentioned entities. Included are; Calendars, Ordinances, Agendas, Fees, Meetings, Permits, and Codes.

The creation of the new Community Development web page was a joint effort of the GIS staff and the new Community Development Division staff.

The Environmental Health services for Oregon Health Licensing (food, tourist, facilities) and the State Drinking Water Program are now part of Crook County Health Department, but will remain located in the Community Development area of the courthouse for efficiency to the public. The new Website for Environmental Health will be located under the Crook County Health Department site.
