BEND, Ore. -

The Central Oregon Health Council is hosting a town hall meeting with Rep. Jason Conger June 8 to discuss Oregon?s latest health care reform efforts and how local businesses and health care consumers will be impacted in the years ahead.

Conger will moderate a discussion featuring:

? Mike Bonetto, health care policy advisor to Gov. John Kitzhaber

? Kevin Jefferies, consumer liaison with the Oregon Insurance Division

? Dr. Robin Henderson, acting executive director of the Central Oregon Health Council

? Dan Stevens, senior vice president of government programs for PacificSource Health Plans and a member of the Central Oregon Health Council

Topics of discussion will include Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs), the state health insurance exchange ? and how it will affect consumers ? and how health care reform may impact health insurance premiums.

The town hall meeting will be held at St. Charles Bend in Conference Rooms A and B from 6 to 9 p.m.
