The Bend-La Pine Schools Board of Directors are looking for interested applicants to vie for an opening on the board serving Zone 2, in northeast Bend.

The successful applicant will be appointed by the Board of Directors and will complete the term previously held by Zone 2 Director Kelly Goff. Once appointed, the Zone 2 Director will serve from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, which is the remainder of Goff?s term.

Applicants must:

? Reside within a Zone 2 voting precinct (precincts 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 20, 26, 41, or 46)

? Have been a resident of Zone 2 for at least one year

? Be a registered voter in Zone 2
