PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — At first, some pre-dawn joggers in well-off neighborhoods of north Portland didn't bother reporting the pantsless man exposing himself — just another example of Portland being weird, they figured.
But five months after the first report about the flasher, The Oregonian reports (http://bit.ly/1kdyhIb ) his behavior has turned more ominous. He's been reported more often. In one case, twice during one jog. And he's begun exposing himself to children.
Police haven't said much about their efforts to find him. Based on the lack of working-hour reports, neighbors believe he has a job, and they suspect he lives nearby. Many say they're running in groups now, carrying pepper spray and telling children to walk home from school in groups and stay in the front yard.
