BEND, Ore. -

Showcasing world-class equestrian talent, the Oregon High Desert Classics is one of the largest and longest-running horse show events in the Northwest and USEF ?AA? rated Hunter/Jumper Competitions.

Over 500 professional and amateur equestrians from the West Coast and Canada will compete during the following dates:

- Classic I: July 18-22nd (Wednesday through Sunday)

- Classic II: July 25-29th (Wednesday through Sunday)

Competitions for all ages and abilities start at 8:00 a.m. and run consecutively in six rings until approximately 5:00 p.m. each day. At the Village Green, vendors will be selling food, beverages, equestrian supplies, clothing and gifts. Spectators are welcome to bring low-rise lawn chairs. Admission is free for spectators at all events.

Grand Prix events where the top horses and riders compete for $25,000 include:

Oxford Hotel Group Grand Prix: Saturday July 21st, starting at 4:30pm

Sheri Allis Memorial Grand Prix: Saturday July 28th starting at 4:30

Join us for dinner at the Grand Prix events with a ringside table for the best seat in the house includes a catered meal from Tate & Tate Catering. Wine is included with dinner. Seating for individuals and tables of 8 are available for purchase. Space is limited and the event will sell-out.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit J Bar J Youth Services, a nonprofit that specializes in prevention, intervention, treatment and education. J Bar J Youth Services is one of the largest regional youth service providers east of the Cascades. Our vision is that all youth succeed and achieve their highest potential. Programs include:
