(CNN) -

Actress Sally Struthers was arrested Wednesday in Ogunquit, Maine, on a charge of operating under the influence.

According to a statement from the Ogunquit Police Department, Struthers, 65, was arrested around 12:20 a.m. on a criminal OUI.

The "All in the Family" and "Gilmore Girls" star was transported to the police station for processing and was subsequently released on $160 bail. Her arraignment is scheduled for December 13.

Struthers is currently performing at The Ogunquit Playhouse in "9 to 5: The Musical." A rep for the actress tells CNN that Struthers is fine, adding that Struthers "loves The Ogunquit Playhouse and her yearly time in Ogunquit. We deny these charges."

The Ogunquit Playhouse adds in a statement of its own that Struthers was in town for her "annual visit" and was performing in "9 to 5" through Saturday night.

"She has not missed a performance and will be on our stage for all remaining performances," the statement continued. "Sally is a good friend of our theatre and our community, and as always when she performs here -- tickets sales are great."
