Mark Wahlberg sorry for 9/11 comments

Mark Wahlberg is apologizing for remarks he made about Sept. 11.

In an interview with Men's Journal, Wahlberg said that if he had been on one of the hijacked flights, he would have fought off the terrorists and the plane would have landed safely.

After his comments drew criticism -- the widow of a 9/11 victim was among those upset by the remarks -- the actor said it was "irresponsible" to suggest such a thing and that he deeply apologizes to the families of the victims.
