DETROIT - A new concept car from Nissan shows what the company is thinking of for future designs.
The car, the Vmotion 2.0, was revealed this week at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Nissan refers to its current corporate design theme as Vmotion, and the concept shows the next version of that language.
The design is intended for a future in which cars are fully autonomous. It includes lighting around the front grille and rear diffuser that light up to let other drivers know when the car is running in autonomous mode.
While the car is purely a concept study for now, it’s likely that some of the design cues will make their way to the Nissans of tomorrow.
