Toyota is set to unveil a new concept car that changes color according to your moods.

Codenamed the Toyota FV2, the vehicle also suggests destinations based on facial expressions and warns of cars in blind spots, according to the company.

Its exterior design is inspired by a catamaran and is supposed to remind customers of flowing water.

"The car will appeal to future consumers of the digital generation, who have been used to smartphones or iPads from a young age," Takeo Moriai, a manager in Toyota's product planning group, said in a statement. "Given that the technology is still at a very early stage of development, it's challenging for us to figure out the extent to which the car can read emotions."

The four-seat car will have a range of around 311 miles and recharges in about three minutes.

Toyota is scheduled to debut the car at the Tokyo Auto Show later this month.
