Americans living in smaller towns are generally healthier than their big-city compatriots, according to a new survey.
According to a new Gallup survey, the average "well-being" of communities in America is 66.7 based on factors like the population's exercise, incidence of diabetes and obesity, health care coverage and optimism levels. In small towns, though, it's even higher. Here are the 20 healthiest small towns (population 100,000 or lower) in America:
