Happy Monday evening, everyone!
A ridge of high pressure stays in place offshore, so Central Oregon will see sunny skies continue. Highs today peaked in the mid to upper 80s, which is around 20 degrees above average. Mild overnight lows in the 40s and 50s will set us up for a warm start tomorrow morning.
Breezes will be light and variable overnight, but we're expecting breezy conditions during the afternoons for the next few days. Tuesday looks to be our hottest day on the extended forecast with highs in the mid to upper 80s once again. We have yet to hit 90 degrees at Roberts Field in Redmond this year.
We cool down by the middle of the week with highs closer to average in the lower 70s, but still mild. Overnight lows will be above average moving forward in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Daytime highs bump back into the mid 70s by the end of the week with sunshine continuing. Memorial Day Weekend looks wonderful with highs in the 80s and sunny skies.
Please be mindful of pets in cars during these warm days. Also, remember waters are quite chilly still as we are just entering warmer days. Find safe ways to cool off! :)
