The Center Foundation Offering Scholarships
POSTED: 5:45 pm PST January 3, 2012BEND, Ore. -- The Center Foundation has released applications for its annual college scholarship program that recognizes the achievements of Central Oregon’s top high school juniors. The $1,500 college scholarships will be available to outstanding high school juniors who excel in academics, school extracurricular activities and leadership, and who are involved community service.The scholarship program is open to current Central Oregon high school juniors planning to attend an accredited college or university in the fall of 2013. Candidates must have a 3.5 or above GPA, outstanding participation in school extracurricular and/or leadership activities, and a solid record of community involvement. Qualified students are encouraged to apply. The deadline for completed application materials is 5:00 p.m. on February 27 at The Center Foundation, 2200 NE Neff Road, Bend, Oregon.
