'Unleash Your Love' at Humane Society of C.O.

POSTED: 5:42 pm PST February 3, 2012
To ensure that your Valentines Day includes a smooch from a pooch or a purr of contentment, the Humane Society of Central Oregon’s Unleash Your Love promotion will have reduced fees on special guests during the month of February.

The Humane Society of Central Oregon wants to help those who have been looking for love in all the wrong places. For those seeking unconditional love, someone to worship and “knead” you, the shelter staff is excited to help you meet your match.

The Humane Society staff will match you with a companion who is excited to greet you, will keep you warm at night and gives kisses on command. There’s a friend waiting to savor days of long walks, naps, candlelight dinners and lying by the fire with you. There’s also a buddy for those seeking a partner to go on an adventure. There are plenty of companions anxiously waiting at the Humane Society who don’t mind being on a short leash or walking in your shadow.

Unleash your love and visit with the animals during the Humane Society of Central Oregon’s Open House on Saturday, February 11 from 10 to 5. Enjoy delectable refreshments for people and goodies for pets.

Visit the animals and meet your match at our adoption event at Smolich Motors in Bend (1865 NE Hwy 20) on Saturday, February 18th, from 11am to 3pm. Special adoption goodies from Invisible Fence will be going home with each adopter at this event.

Have a heart and adopt the love of your life at the Humane Society of Central Oregon. Adoptions include a complete care package of spay or neuter surgery, first vaccination, health exam by local veterinarians, microchip, collar, ID tag and leash or carrying box, one month pet insurance and food.

The animal shelter is open Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and is located on SE 27th Street a half mile South of Reed Market Road. For more information call 541 382-3537 or visit www.hsco.org to see the animals anxiously waiting for a new home.
