The Central Oregon Builders Association is a trade association comprised of almost 1,000 members. About a third of the members are builders, with the remaining two-thirds of its membership coming from sub-contractors, material suppliers, and other support businesses such as banks, mortgage companies, realtors etc. COBA is the 2nd largest Home Builders Association in the state of Oregon. Annually COBA produces the Spring & Fall Home & Garden ShowsTM, The Tour of HomesTM, the Tour Of Remodeled HomesTM.
As a non-profit membership trade association COBA’s mission is: “To represent the building industry before government and the community, to promote high ethical standards within the building industry, to provide service to its membership and to defend the opportunities of home ownership for all.” COBA is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders, and the Oregon Home Builders Association. When you join COBA you also join the NAHB and OHBA.
Builders & Sub-contractors of all types (from foundations to roofing, painting to interior design) are members, material suppliers (lumber, cabinets, molding, concrete, countertops, closets, garages, tools, spas, fireplaces) are members. Associate members include realtors, banks, mortgage brokers & lenders, lawyers, printers, caterers and even other non-profits!
