COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Coeur d'Alene city officials are considering whether to strengthen child care rules for health clubs that offer baby-sitting services while parents work out.
Full-time child care providers in the city must pass background checks and purchase annual licenses. Now that rule may be expanded to athletic clubs - an idea that comes after clubs in the area say they're seeing increased demand for child supervision.
The Coeur d'Alene Press reports that if adopted, the rule would go into effect in January.
