BROWNSVILLE, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of his mother.

Josh Lee Shaddon was arrested after Linn County sheriff's deputies were called Friday to the home of his mother, 48-year-old Gerlene Thorne of Brownsville.

The 31-year-old Shaddon was being held at the Linn County Jail.
