Brief Break Tonight, Not For Long...

The strong winds from earlier today have somewhat subsided as the cold front passed through the area.  The winds will continue to decrease and the isolated rain/snow showers will come to an end this evening under mostly cloudy skies.  We will experience a brief lull in the activity during the day tomorrow before another powerful Pacific storm approaches.  After sunset tomorrow, expect the Cascades to start receiving heavy snow amounting to near a foot by Sunday morning.  The High Desert can expect the winds to ramp up yet again tomorrow night with another round of scattered rain/snow showers late tomorrow night.
